Claude Carmichael Jr, Barbara and Bobby Fruin. Small Print
This picture is a scanned print, unlike the scanned negative in the next picture of the same people. The print size is 2.25 in X 3.25 in. The print is actually smaller than the negative. The negative size is known as 116, which is 70mm at the width. This negative size is 2½×4¼ in, which is huge. To get a larger negative you would need to step up to a 4x5 large format camera. Unfortunately Kodak stopped making 116 roll film in 1984. 116 roll film was introduced by Kodak in 1899 and was very popular. Many versions of the famous Kodak Brownie box camera used 116 film. Kodak also made many folding cameras that used 116 film. Pictues 1-40 on this page were all scanned from 116 negatives with the exception of this scanned print. Unfortunately this print has faded badly, which is not unusual. That's why we're so lucky to have a bunch of negatives. Prints of this size and border style were very common back in the day. I have old prints of this style from the Houlton Family pictures as well. They are all fading.
Per Jane Houlton or Ethel Carmichael's writing on the back, this is Claude Jr, Barbara and Bobby Fruin. She indicated that this is a guess.
